[27/11/09 News] Myolie: Love before intimateness

Myolie explained the content of the song lyrics to the male and female models.

TVB fadan Myolie Wu has acting and singing talents. Carrying a sexy image to shoot a MV for her new song, Myolie who admitted that love must come before intimateness brought her first love outlook into the song lyrics, specially for the virgin girls.


Male and female models in the MV shooting being half-naked, even Myolie thinks it’s embarrassing.

Myolie who entered the music industry for quite some time, has earlier went to Ting Kau to shoot her new song 《靈魂伴侶》 “Soul Mate” MV. Myolie who was wearing spaghetti top, while filming she was hugging herself, inadvertently revealing her sexy feminine qualities. However it is incomparable to the male and female models who are half-naked in the MV. In order to enable them to relax a little, Myolie personally explained the feeling to them. The mandarin version of the song which Myolie herself wrote the lyrics for the first time, said that as mandarin is easier to fill in, she hopes that she can try more in the future.


The usual refined Myolie, talks about love and sex for her new song.

Admits that she has no figure
Myolie admitted that yearning for intense love, she said “Two people getting together will be very sweet, very passionate. But men and women views are different. I am the same as the other women, there must be love before sex.” When asked if her rumoured boyfriend Bosco Wong did give her any advice, she was very embarrassed and said “No la……each of us are busy!”

The male and female models for the MV had bold performances, Myolie was asked whether she did sacrifice as an artiste before, she said “My figure is not good enough, but feel that I can be bold enough! (Will you be like Tang Wei who was almost entirely bare in “Lust, Caution”?) Very difficult to say, must see the script, but my figure is not as good as Tang Wei la! That’s why today I brought the male and female models first!”

[27/11/09 News] Myolie Wu: Love before sex


Myolie who is shooting MV inadvertently exposed the sexy side of her.



Male models Louis and Anna half-naked while shooting MV, even Myolie says it’s embarrassing.

Recently Myolie has gone to a hotel in Ting Kau to shoot a MV for a new song 《靈魂伴侶》 “Soul Mate”, she wore a low cut spaghetti top. As Myolie has personally written the lyrics for the mandarin version of the song, she said that she would like to bring out the modern concept of love between men and women “The concept of men is sex then love, while women are the opposite. I am the same as the ordinary women, must have love first then sex!” When asked if Bosco Wong has listened to her new song, she became shy and said “No la! Everyone is so busy.”

In order to express the lyrics contents, Myolie invited two guest models who were half-naked and were hugging each other in the hotel balcony. Myolie admitted that she felt embarrassed for them. When asked if she would be like Tang Wei who appeared naked for onscreen, she said that it depends on the script, and that her figure cannot match up to Tang Wei.

Julian Cheung and Myolie Wu were filming their MV for their first time for their duets being the Cantonese version 《一刀了斷》 “A Clean Break” and Mandarin version 《愛‧過》 “Love”. Chilam praised Myolie “She sings very seriously, seldom plays.” Nowadays many singers have been going out of tune, he said “Who doesn’t sing out of tune? [07/10/09 News] Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong have a new partner each

Myolie Wu and Julian Cheung has a duet 《一刀了斷》 “A Clean Break”, and they were filming MV for their Mandarin version 《愛‧過》 “Love” yesterday. Myolie praised Chilam as the co-founder of duets when one song 《現代愛情故事》 “Modern Love Story” became classic. She also laughed saying that she would get goosebumps when hearing Chilam recording his song, because his voice is too touching.

Regarding that Bosco Wong went Mainland to shoot 《摘星之旅》 and had rumours with Toby Leung, Myolie insisted that she and Bosco had never go on dates! [07/10/09 News] Chilam helps Myolie to get rid of rumours


Chilam praised Myolie for her good singing and was not out of tune.

Julian Cheung who has returned to the music industry was filming an MV with Myolie Wu for their duet 《一刀了斷》 “A Clean Break” yesterday. They have also sang for the theme song of 《軍曹》 “Keroro”. Later they would be going to Hokkaido together for filming of their new drama series. Chilam praised Myolie that her singing is good. There have been news that nowadays many singers have sing out of tune during their LIVE singing, Chilam said “The singers today and back at our generation are different, maybe their methods have changed. Actually going off-key is not the main focus, most important is to treasure their performances opportunities.”

Some people said that Myolie when singing 《一刀了斷》 “A Clean Break” was actually singing out her currently relationship situation with Bosco Wong. And there have been reports that she was not happy with Bosco and Toby Leung being together, and even complained to Virginia Lok. Myolie said “The reports are definitely false. Bosco and I did not go on dates, how will there be break ups and complaints?” Chilam rushed to help Myolie to explain “TVB will be broadcasting 《宮心計》 “Beyond the Realm of Conscience”, so now there is a notice.” However Myolie laughed and said that she did not film in 《宮心計》 “Beyond the Realm of Conscience”, but she would consult Chilam for love experience because he did not have any rumours after marriage!

Myolie Wu and Chilam were at Sheung Wan filming MV for their cantonese version duet 《一刀了斷》 “A Clean Break”. Myolie who duets with Chilam for the first time, feels very honoured yet pressurized. Chilam also praised Myolie for being a serious singer with a positive attitude.

There have been reports that Myolie’s rumoured boyfriend Bosco Wong who was in Mainland shooting 《摘星之旅》 and had rumours with Toby Leung. Thus when Myolie was filming the MV yesterday, she became sensitive. Myolie said “These are just rumours, not true. (Are you still together with Bosco Wong?) No, don’t talk about this today! (But heard that you used scheming attacks?) Helping the company to promote the new series 《宮心計》 “Beyond the Realm of Conscience” which is about to air) Yes! (But you were not in it?) Just helping the company.”

Chilam not only deliberately left moustache just for this MV, but also specially composed 《一刀了斷》 “A Clean Break” and Mandarin version 《愛‧過》 “Love”. When talking about many singers have gone out of tune, he said “”Who doesn’t sing out of tune? It is a special characteristic, give them some time to practice!” He said that he did hear Kay Tse and Kate Tsui sing before, and thinks that their singing is not bad and didn’t think they go out of tune either. Soon he will be filming a new drama series with Myolie, and will be going to Hokkaido for filming.

Myolie feels honoured to film MV with Chilam.

Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong were reported to have ended their relationship, and Bosco was also allegedly with Toby Leung. Regarding this love triangle, Myolie said that she and Bosco were never together.

Myolie and Chilam were in Central filming for their MV for their duet 《一刀了斷》 “A Clean Break”. Both of them held hands and hugged one another. Myolie said that Chilam was the co-founder of duets, and was very happy being able to sing with him. But yet she felt the pressure, and also praised Chilam for his touching voice which made her have goosebumps.

Talking about the reports of Bosco being with Toby and thus there is a love triangle, and Myolie went to complain to Virginia Lok about it and it was successful. Myolie said that she would treat the rumours as story and have forgotten about it. When asked if she and Bosco are still together. She said with a bit of difficulty “Never together, but was together in series.” As for the reports saying she was scheming, Myolie laughed and said that she would help the company to promote the about-to-air drama series 《宮心計》 “Beyond the Realm of Conscience”. When asked Chilam if he has any experiences to teach Myolie? He claimed saying that the topic is too in depty and didn’t know how to answer and does not have the experience. Myolie claimed that there is no trouble.

I myself love this MV so much, different from all her other MVs. I prefer this MV among the rest, though this is a sad song. You can feel the emotions in it. And Myo was really really soaked wet, when you see at the end. Overall, thumbs up for the MV!! (:

I myself love this MV so much, different from all her other MVs.
I prefer this MV among the rest, though this is a sad song. You can feel the emotions in it.
And Myo was really really soaked wet, when you see at the end.
