[31/01/10 News] Myolie hopes to receive flowers from Bosco during Valentine’s Day

Myolie has support from fans, full of joy

Myolie Wu “LiveHolic autograph session” was held at Kowloon Bay Megabox yesterday, her new album will come with her mini concert DVD. Myolie made special trip to return to Hong Kong from Shanghai, recently she is in Mainland shooting a new drama series, and suffered from a cold, yesterday she was fighting with her cold. Fortunately she will be having two days of rest during Lunar New Year, but it is not known if she will be returning to Hong Kong to celebrate Lunar New Year.

Bosco had recently said he would go to Shanghai during New Year to promote a movie film, and may pay her a visit. Myolie said “Not known! Probably I will return to Hong Kong, because I want to eat with my family.” Did she prepare any gift for Bosco? She expressed no, but she will give her album to him, but it is not Valentine’s Day gift, but a New Year’s gift. She reiterated that he is not her boyfriend.

Hoping for surprises
When asked if she and Bosco will continue to be together till they are old? She looked like she didn’t have the luck, but hopes that she will receive flowers on Valentine’s Day, she believes that her fans will give her too. When the reporter told her that there could be surprises, she said she hoped so too. Earlier on Myolie was photographed being exposed during her mini concert, will there be scenes of that in the DVD? Myolie Wu held her “LiveHolic” autograph session at Megabox yesterday, but the event started half an hour after the scheduled time, because there were some traffic delays when she returned from Shanghai. This time there is a collection of her mini concert DVD in her EP. When asked about suspecting she accidentally exposed herself during the concert, Myolie laughed saying “There is no exposure for sure, everyone can buy and see, hope to give a surprise to everyone la!”

Myolie sang two songs on the spot yesterday, but she said that while in Shanghai filming new drama series 《歡喜婆婆俏媳婦》 “Happy Mother-In Law, Pretty Daughter-In-Law” caught a cold and have yet to fully recover. She had to return to Shanghai today to continue filming until after New Year. But she will be having her holidays for one and a half day on New Year’s eve and first day of New Year, and she is considering if she should return back to Hong Kong to have reunion dinner with her family. Reporters said that rumoured boyfriend Bosco Wong will be going over to Shanghai to promote a movie during New Year, and said he would join her, Myolie pretended that she did not know anything and said that she might return to Hong Kong.

This year Valentine’s Day falls on the first day of Lunar New Year, when asked if she has chosen a gift for Bosco. Myolie laughed saying “Give my album la, but it is not Valentine’s Day gift, but because the album cover is red in colour, it matches with the New Year atmosphere.” The reported teased her by saying if she would like to give herself as a gift. Myolie said that there is not a need to do so, are they already old couple? She said that it is not the case, and emphasized that both of them are not a couple, the reporter teased her that she should call him husband. Myolie let out a “Ya” sound to show that she surrendered. Myolie admitted that she often receives flowers, but it was only her fans who sent. She does not mind receiving flowers from a mysterious person, this can demonstrate her own charm.

Myolie appeared in a radio station to promote her new album “Love Holic”. She said the market response is good, the first edition has been all sold out. She said “The company told me that my album sales is good, the first batch has already been sold out. Myolie Wu who will be holding her mini concert on Sunday, said that she would show the wild and sexy side of her.

Myolie appeared at a radio station to promote her new album yesterday.

Myolie Wu appeared in a radio station yesterday to promote her new album. When mentioned that rumoured boyfriend Bosco Wong complimented that her fair and smooth back, Myolie smiled sweetly and said “Of course la! No need to say.” When talked about her album sales, Myolie said “I heard the company saying that the first batch of albums has good sales, there are overseas fans whom bought hundred over at one go, we were very happy after knowing this good news.”

Myolie said that she will be holding her mini concert on 13 December. Other than Chilam who will be her guest performer, she has also invited many TVB artistes including Bosco Wong. Good sales for new album, Myolie feels very happy.

Myolie who has entered the music industry has recently released her new album, and is known to have a second batch of her album. She felt a great sense of satisfaction, plus starring her drama series “A Chip Off The Old Block” has good ratings, Myolie felt that she has done her job for the company. Her mini concert will be held on 13 December, she will be showcasing all her abilities, and will be singing and dancing. When asked if she has changed to be a fast-song singer, she said “No, singing slow songs can still move people, I have been working hard to learn dancing is because I would like to let everyone see my sincerity.”

Besides learning dancing, Myolie has also spent a 5-figure sum to purchase audio and sound insulation at her house, in order to practice at home day and night to improve herself. She also added that she is confident in getting an award for the year-end music awards. Myolie Wu’s new album sales has been good, and this made her very happy and feel at ease, because the record company had put in a lot of resources, and finally she had ….. To show her thanks to her record company and fans for their support, Myolie has been rehearsing actively for her mini concert, and will be singing and dancing. But she denied that she wants to be a fast-song singer, “Singing slow songs can move people too, I want to let people see my sincerity.”

Last night Myolie Wu and Cheung Chilam were at Hollywood Plaza for the Christmas lighting ceremony, as well as it was also Myolie’s new album release press conference. Both duet their love song.

As Myolie’s new album will be releasing today, Chilam said “I will also release my album next week, hope that she will also help me to buy to get to platinum, everyone will be good.”

Myolie Wu and Cheung Chilam will be filming till new year, so both will most likely be spending Christmas together.

Myolie Wu and Cheung Chilam were filming a drama series together. Both had earlier went to Hokkaido for outdoor filming. Myolie laughed saying that her impression of Chilam had vanished.

Myolie Wu being the ambassador of a slimming company, and because she had to shoot a new series of advertisement, even if seeing Hokkaido’s good food, she had to resist. On the other hand, Chilam who tried the local food and his luck is going quite well, Myolie could not help but wanted to complain. Myolie also revealed that the filming will finish till past new year, so she will most likely spend Christmas with Chilam. By then they may want to hold a party to celebrate.

Myolie never thought that Chilam is so mischievous, and is a “big devil child”

Myolie Wu and Cheung Chilam attended the event “My Deer Christmas Town” Christmas lighting ceremony at Hollywood Plaza last night. It also coincides with the launch of Myolie’s new album, thus the new album release press conference was also held last night. Both of them duet their song, and had also went to Hokkaido earlier on for drama shooting, and they have become good friends. Myolie laughed saying that at first she thought Chilam is a refined handsome guy, but in fact he is very mischievous, always playing tricks on people, no wonder his son is a “magic child” because he is also a “big devil child”. However Myolie said that he has not played a trick on her temporarily yet, but she didn’t dare to say too much because they still have to work together for two months.

Chilam crazily eats thus gaining weight
Chilam said that after returning from Hokkaido, he had gained more than a dozen pound after trying on the local food “lard ramen”. He has also become “God of Cookery” after returning to Hong Kong. His album will release on 30 November, Myolie laughed saying “Then I will also buy till you have platinum sale la.” When asked Myolie if she will give her new album to Bosco Wong? She said that she will buy many of her albums to give to friends as Christmas gifts, but hopes that her friends will also buy another one to support her.

Cheung Chilam and Myolie Wu attended Christmas lighting ceremony.

Cheung Chilam and Myolie Wu attended the event “My Deer Christmas Town” lighting ceremony at Hollywood Plaza at Diamond Hill. Both of them were very excited, and saw the Christmas town as well as the reindeers and others. It was such a romantic scene, and reminded them of the great memories when travelling overseas. The most special was the 9 little reindeers with different personalities and different images appearing on stage. Chilam said “I would always hope to come to the playground to ride the merry-go-round when I was young, now I would like to ride it again once more. This year re-entering the music industry, and have to film series, my work is more busy than before, so my Christmas wish is to celebrate with my family and friends on the very day, indulging in the wonderful Christmas dinner.”

Myolie Wu said “Sitting on this little angel deer is just like a paradise in a foreign place, and it reminds me of the times when I was studying abroad. Though I wish to spend a romantic white Christmas, but I have to work on Christmas every year and there are no holidays till now, and I hope I can have one or two days off for Christmas.”

Myolie and Chilam sang LIVE, and both had recently wet to Hokkaido for filming. When the reporters said that Chilam’s luck is going quite well, he said that earlier on he had gone to Hokkaido with Myolie Wu, Tavia Yeung, Michael Tse and others for filming. He had gained 10 pounds, and laughed that he could be the successor of Kent Cheng. He said “I ate lard ramen when I was in Hokkaido! Both of them duet a song and had recently went to Hokkaido for filming, and now have become good friends. Chilam said that he will definitely buy CDs to support Myolie, and will buy her CDs until it hit platinum sales. Because Chilam’s new album will be releasing end of this month, Myolie laughed saying “Then I will also buy yours till you have platinum sales la!” When asked Myolie if she will be giving her CD to Bosco Wong, she laughed saying that if friends then should buy more to support her.

Chilam joked that filming in Hokkaido had gained him more than ten pounds because his favourite local food there was “lard ramen”. However because Myolie had to shoot slimming advertisements, so she had to endure the good food in Hokkaido, instead she shopped crazily, returning home with a full load. “The Chip Off The Old Block” story plot is out in TVB Weekly #648. I will translate Myolie’s character some time soon.

My main reason of updating is because today’s 23 November 2009!!! Myolie’s second album “Love Holic” will be releasing today, yes today!!! I am so excited, are you guys excited?! I really wish her album sales will be good and that her upcoming concert will be successful!

Few “outdated” updates to be said (starting with the latest):
1) Myolie’s second EP 《Love Holic》(愛情狂) will be on sale on 21 November. A collection of 6 Cantonese and 1 Mandarin songs. Theme – love songs.

2) Myolie has gone to Hokkaido for filming of 《魚躍在花見の朝》 “The Morning of Flying Fish in Hanami” on 25th October for 3 weeks. She will be back to Hong Kong on 16th November.

3) Myolie’s mini concert has confirmed to be on 13 December 2009, 8pm to 11pm @ Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Center.

4) I guess most of you have heard Chilam and Myolie duet of 《一刀了斷》 “A Clean Break” and 《愛‧過》 “Love”. For those who have yet to hear, you can hear it here!
