Luckily Yu Ji Yeng who she just met helped her solve her troubles, Ji Yeng even suggested her to live in his house, this way she was at least not as helpless and homeless. Kiong Kwiong had to adapt to the ordinary life of civilians which is not that easy. Ji Yeng took on the role of coach without hesitation, he had to educate Kiong Kwiong how to live a "civilian's life". This way, Ji Yeng accompanied Kiong Kwiong in her life's most difficult days.

Unexpectedly, this trip let her encounter Mou Yung Ching again, who is a strange tempered buyer at a fish market. Ji Yeng wanted to win the competition and asked Mou Yung Ching to be his master, but Mou Yung Ching strongly refused to accept any pupils. Kiong Kwiong did everything she could to convince him. During this course of events, Mou Yung Ching found out she’s actually his biological daughter.
After Mou Yung Ching got to know about Kiong Kwiong's hated towards her biological father for being an excessive drinker back then and causing their family to be ruined and broken, he did not dare to tell her their true relation. However, Ji Yeng got to know this inadvertently. As a result, Mou Yung Ching agreed with accepting Ji Yeng as his pupil. Kiong Kwiong did not know that all this is because Mou Yung Ching is mindful of their father-daughter relation. After Kiong Kwiong finds out their relation, she couldn't be released of the fact that her father caused her mother to die. Myolie Wu’s mini concert was held last night. Her family and rumoured boyfriend Bosco Wong and family were all there to support her. Myolie’s first appearance was in a black patent leather bra top, giving her fans a big surprise. Bosco Wong supports Myolie at mini concert, being teased by Nancy Wu that it looks like holding a wedding banquet.

Bosco Wong supported rumoured girlfriend Myolie Wu at her first mini concert as the male lead. As his birthday is on the same day, he went with many TVB artistes to support Myolie and many of her fans immediately gave Bosco birthday gifts and their blessings. Wong Cho Lam immediately said “I wish you a life of conjugal bliss and have more children! ” And Nancy Wu said smilingly that the atmosphere feels like going for a wedding. Chilam was Myolie’s guest performer, but there were errors again and again, he pulled Myolie near him for the lyrics, so that it is more easy to see.

Cheung Chilam was a guest performer for Myolie Wu’s mini concert. When Chilam was on stage, the first thing he tried to be funny by reminding Myolie about the job at 6am the next day. But in between when Chilam duet two songs with Myolie, he was busy focusing on the lyrics in front of the stage and had no communication with Myolie. Chilam said “I am really busy these few days, I do not have the time to memorize the lyrics, but luckily both songs are not love songs so they did not have to sing like they are deeply in love” He expressed that when he holds a concert, he is also interested in getting Myolie to be his special guest.

Small boy rejected to kiss Myolie, causing her to eat lemon in public

Myolie Wu has been appointed to be the ambassador for a Japanese skin care brand for consecutive three years. Myolie attended the signing ceremony at Tsuen Wan yesterday, and demonstrated the use of the skin care products. They arranged for a child to send flowers to Myolie, and asked the child to give Myolie a kiss, however he declined the request. Myolie laughed and said “This can be considered the first time I eat lemon, maybe he was afraid, a good boy will not make chaos out of others.”

Myolie said that in the past only she turned down guys, but she has never been rejected before. She explained “I never take the initiative, of course I do not have the opportunity to be rejected.” Myole claimed that when she rejected the guy’s well-intention, she will try not to hurt him, but instead use words to thank his good intentions. As for whether Bosco Wong initiates to pursue Myolie, she appeared to be embarrassed, and does not want to always change the subject to Bosco.

Last night Myolie Wu held her mini concert at Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition centre, she said that Cheung Chilam and Paisley Wu will be the guest performers. When asked if she will be too happy until she will cry, Myolie said “Want to cry just cry, the scene at night should be all my good friends and family. Even my sister gave me tea to nourish my voice, everyone is very concerned yet worried for me, just like I am married.”

Myolie said that yesterday was Bosco Wong’s 29th birthday, and asked if she would invite him on stage and sing birthday song to wish him. Myolie said “I will not let him come on stage, but I am considering to sing a birthday song for him, perhaps I will invite all friends to sing together.”

[11/12/09 Interview] Myolie Wu in tip-top condition to meet fans


Myolie Wu did not think of getting award this year.

Myolie Wu who has just launched her new album, has been very busy recently. She had to continuously promote her new album, and she had to attend promotional events for her new drama series “A Chip Off The Old Block”. Moreover in the upcoming weekend, Myolie will be holding her mini concert. With her being so busy in promotions, she still had to find time to practice singing and dancing, and hopes to meet her fans in her tip-top condition.

The concert will be coming soon, how will Myolie display all her talents and efforts? She said “I have done full preparations for this concert, and I am hoping to meet my fans in my best state. Besides dancing, of course I will be singing on that night. In order not to have stage fright, I had earlier on bought a Hi-Fi, I will practice singing at home when I have time. On the other hand I can also be familiar with the song lyrics, and also I can record when I am singing, and then listen to the recording on how my singing goes, see which area I can sing with more emotions, or in which area I can sing mildly or others.” When asked if she is nervous? Myolie admitted that it is still alright, but she is more worried about the dancing part. She said “Instead I am not afraid of singing, because most of the songs are my songs, a small part will be singing other artistes’ songs. But this time for my mini concert, I will be dancing for about 2 to 3 minutes, now I am practicing really hard, I am afraid I may forget the dance steps, afterall dancing is not my strength.”

After launching her new album, do her fans have any comments on it? Myolie laughed saying “Although I did not directly ask them, but some fans do like it, especially in this album I had personally composed the lyrics of the Mandarin song o f《靈魂伴侶》”Soul Mate”. Myolie admitted “Having to enter the music industry for the second year, I have no thought of winning. After all I am no longer in the newcomer category whereby I am only competing with a few or more than 10 people. However Linda who has also entered the music industry, and has also released her album almost the same time as Myolie. When asked Myolie if she feel the competition has increased? She said “There is always competition, but it is the friendly type, but I will not go and compare, because everybody is different individual, have their own style.” Myolie said that although there are many artistes who are like her having enter the music industry while in the acting industry, but this is a good thing, it proves that this circle has many hidden talents, as one can act as well as sing too. This is something to be worth happy about. “An all-rounded artiste has to excel in all areas, I cannot say that because for fear of competition thus I give up on something. This will not only regress, but also lose the opportunity to showcase other talents.”

Having to form bonds with Chilam again
In Myolie’s new album, she collaborated with Chilam for their duet song《一刀兩斷》 ”A Clean Break”, this made Myolie very surprised. Both come together because of the song and now because of filming, they both went to Hokkaido for drama shooting last month. After three weeks of “seeing day and night”, Myolie admitted that both understand each other very well. She laughed and said “The first time we duet was when both of us did not know each other well, at first I thought that he was a quiet person. But after this Hokkaido trip, he is actually very naughty, always playing tricks on people.”

Myolie said that during the three weeks of shooting period, the set rises as early as 5am in the morning. Because every morning we had to get up around 3am to 4am to make-up, and plus the weather was very cold, it was quite torturing. She revealed that in one of the scenes she had to wear a wedding dress baring her shoulders at this kind of weather, she was like fighting with the cold weather. Myolie laughed “After flying to Tokyo for shooting, I would go shopping when I had the time, and also ate a lot of local cuisine. I would gain some weight after returning to Hong Kong.” Also during the shooting period, Myolie and the crew celebrated her birthday for her! “All of us wenr to eat buffet to celebrate, really very happy!”

Myolie Wu and Cheung Chilam attended the event “My Deer Christmas Town” Christmas lighting ceremony at Hollywood Plaza last night. It also coincides with the launch of Myolie’s new album, thus the new album release press conference was also held last night. Both of them duet their song, and had also went to Hokkaido earlier on for drama shooting, and they have become good friends. Myolie laughed saying that at first she thought Chilam is a refined handsome guy, but in fact he is very mischievous, always playing tricks on people, no wonder his son is a “magic child” because he is also a “big devil child”. However Myolie said that he has not played a trick on her temporarily yet, but she didn’t dare to say too much because they still have to work together for two months.

Chilam crazily eats thus gaining weight
Chilam said that after returning from Hokkaido, he had gained more than a dozen pound after trying on the local food “lard ramen”. He has also become “God of Cookery” after returning to Hong Kong. A few days ago in Macau, he has bought a lot of dried pork back to Hong Kong to treat the staff. It also happened on the day of the filming that they had to eat sashimi. Michael Miu and Stephanie Che who were filming next door gave them food to eat too. He said that he has to lose weight now, and his wife Anita Yuen is not in Hong Kong now, therefore there were no complaints. Myolie released her second album yesterday, she said that she was not so nervous this time round. Cheung Chilam and Myolie Wu attended the event “My Deer Christmas Town” lighting ceremony at Hollywood Plaza at Diamond Hill. Both of them were very excited, and saw the Christmas town as well as the reindeers and others. It was such a romantic scene, and reminded them of the great memories when travelling overseas. The most special was the 9 little reindeers with different personalities and different images appearing on stage. Chilam said “I would always hope to come to the playground to ride the merry-go-round when I was young, now I would like to ride it again once more. This year re-entering the music industry, and have to film series, my work is more busy than before, so my Christmas wish is to celebrate with my family and friends on the very day, indulging in the wonderful Christmas dinner.”

Myolie Wu said “Sitting on this little angel deer is just like a paradise in a foreign place, and it reminds me of the times when I was studying abroad. Though I wish to spend a romantic white Christmas, but I have to work on Christmas every year and there are no holidays till now, and I hope I can have one or two days off for Christmas.”

Myolie and Chilam sang LIVE, and both had recently wet to Hokkaido for filming. When the reporters said that Chilam’s luck is going quite well, he said that earlier on he had gone to Hokkaido with Myolie Wu, Tavia Yeung, Michael Tse and others for filming. He had gained 10 pounds, and laughed that he could be the successor of Kent Cheng. He said “I ate lard ramen when I was in Hokkaido! When I was in Macau for work, I bought many souvenirs to share with my colleagues. But who knows that during filming, I had to eat sashimi and sushi. It also coincided with Myolie’s launching of her new album, thus there was a press conference as well. Both of them duet a song and had recently went to Hokkaido for filming, and now have become good friends. Chilam said that he will definitely buy CDs to support Myolie, and will buy her CDs until it hit platinum sales. Because Chilam’s new album will be releasing end of this month, Myolie laughed saying “Then I will also buy yours till you have platinum sales la!” When asked Myolie if she will be giving her CD to Bosco Wong, she laughed saying that if friends then should buy more to support her.

Chilam joked that filming in Hokkaido had gained him more than ten pounds because his favourite local food there was “lard ramen”. However because Myolie had to shoot slimming advertisements, so she had to endure the good food in Hokkaido, instead she shopped crazily, returning home with a full load. After collaborating many times, Myolie finally understands why Chilam’s son is a devil child, because he himself is a “big devil child”, always loves to play trick on people. However Myolie joked that she did not dare to say much because he hasn’t played tricks on her yet. Moreover they still have two months to work together.

Myolie had a happy birthday celebration with her colleagues and staff in Hokkaido.

Although Myolie Wu could take part to go after Best Actress title with “Burning Flame 3”, but because Sheren Tang and Charmaine Sheh have higher votes, she would lose on the number counts. In addition she has earlier on went to Hokkaido for filming, she had to wear a wedding gown during winter season, but she was professional and even said that it was romantic.

Myolie Wu has been very busy recently, she went to Hokkaido earlier to film the drama series “The Morning of Flying Fish in Hanami”. When she returned to Hong Kong, she continue to film commercials and participate in the TVB Anniversary Gala show. As this year’s competition is very high, Myolie being voted as Best Actress for “Burning Flame III” does not seem to be in favour because of the vote counts. When asked about her confidence, she takes the easy way and said “I will continue to work hard, I have participated in Miss Hong Kong Pageant in 1999, I have entered into this industry for 10 years. My target as Best Actress is definitely one of them, but there are other targets as well!”

Actually Myolie is now keen in developing her singing career and breaking into the Mainland market, seriously aiming high, she said “I have filmed one Mainland drama series this year, collaborating with Ruby Lin, and I know that the Mainland market is really big.”

Earlier on, Myolie Wu filmed the skin care brand ISQUEEN advertisement with a simple tanktop and pure look. This is her third year collaborating and her pay increases. Besides filming for advertisement, Myolie was busy participating in the TVB Anniversary Gala show. Myolie who was voted as Best Actress for “Burning Flame III”, reckons that she will lose because of the vote counts. But she laughed and said that she would change her goals “Being Best Actress is of course one of my goals, but there are other goals! As for singing, I think I can go on higher heights.”

In addition, Myolie had flew to Hokkaido earlier on for drama shooting. Even though the place was very snowy and yet she had to wear a wedding dress, but she was not scared. Myolie Wu has been busy recently, she has just returned to Hong Kong from Hokkaido for filming. During the period, she had filmed a wedding scene with Chilam in the snow, although she had to bare her shoulders and arms. As it was also Myolie’s birthday then, the entire crew celebrated her birthday with her. When asked if rumoured boyfriend did wish her via SMS, Myolie avoided the topic and said “Many staff cut birthday cake with me, there was a Japanese guy who gave me flowers!”

After returning to Hong Kong, Myolie was busy shooting for commercials and attending the TVB Anniversary Gala. This year’s competition is more intense. Myolie being nominated as Best Actress for her role in “Burning Flame III”, Myolie admitted that she was prepared to lose but she said “I will continue to work hard. Ever since I participated in Miss Hong Kong Pageant in 1999, I have been in this industry for 10 years now. Being Best Actress is of course my goal, but I have other goals as well!” The goal which she was referring to is singing. Chilam and Myolie quietly putting in efforts for so many years, finally they are rewarded.

Chilam and Myolie Wu who have been arranged by the record company to pair up as a newly couple, after that TVB also wanted them to be on-screen couple. Last night, both of returned to Hong Kong from Japan. This time they went to Japan for three weeks, to Otaru and Tokyo for filming.Many people think that filming overseas is very fun, can enjoy besides having to work, but actually it is not as interesting as one may think. Just like they went to Japan for three weeks, Chilam said to his manager “I haven’t even seen the streets lightings!” Every day start work around 3am or 4am, that is early morning 3am, 4am get out of bed, put on make-up and wash-up will need to wake up earlier. Everybody sees the surface that being an artiste is very glamorous, but have no idea how much they contributed? Of course there are rewards, just like Chilam and Myolie whose salaries are proportional thus it is worthwhile. But those who spent around ten years, but could only be in the entertainment circle having ups and downs, not to mention about filming movies and dramas, but having a small role in the series only having two sentences of dialogues would already make them very happy. I do not know how many “small” artistes they have in the entertainment circle, of course there are many popular celebrities, but quite many of the “small” artistes are also my friends. Seeing them have opportunities, even if it’s only three or four sentences of dialogues, having to compare with just being near the lead standing around, seeing them onscreen will make them even happier!

So whenever I see Myolie and Chilam being so hardworking, I appreciate every performance. That time I saw Chilam and Myolie was when their new duet song was starting to release, just started promoting. Chilam grew moustache because he wants to make himself to look more mature, he said to me in distress “My look is also my trouble, so keeping some moustache hoping to have some change!” Looking at his “child-like” face, his anguish can be understandable!
