Myolie commented that being a “star mother” is not that good to be

Gallen Lo, Myolie Wu, Margie Tsang and David Lui starring in TVB drama “When A Dog Loves A Cat” received good ratings last year when it was being aired. This time Gallen and Myolie will be collaborating together again for the second time, from previously siblings into a couple now. Gallen’s performance has been well-recognized by the audience, however Myolie received only part of the audience, expressing that her performance is too boring and doesn’t have any breakthrough, thus does not match up to Gallen. Bringing up the matter again, Myolie expressed that it is difficult to comment on her own performance, but she hopes to progress more and for more improvement. Myolie also revealed that she will be releasing her new album in November and hopes that she will have the opportunity to develop her career in Mainland, and hopes everyone can accommodate.

Besides the outstanding performance, the performance by the cats and dogs attracted many audience too. Myolie’s cat did participate in it too. Myolie’s expressed that being the “star mother” of her cat is not easy and good to do, because her cat is a little introverted. Thus she was worried that her cat would not act well, feeling very scared and anxious. Although “When A Dog Loves A Cat” has high level of comedy, the ending will make the audience cry. Regarding this kind of ending, Myolie feels that it is quite good as not all dramas need to have such happy endings. In reality, such a “real life” ending will have a stronger impact on the audience.

Thanks for the news and translations :)

How can some audiences expect Myolie’s acting to match up with Gallen, who had acted much longer and had much more experiences than Myolie. Who even won Best Actor 3 times.

Myolie’s hairstyle looks pretty much like in WDLC, but less curlier and black. I want to see Myolie’s performance, although I wanted her to sing Brighter Day more. But it’s good if she could practise Brighter Day live more, really hope she can perform it live and with as much feel and emotion. And hope she can attend to JSG soon..
