Burning Flame III peaked at 38 points for first episode

Burning Flame 3 began airing the night before last. Average rating was 36 points, peaking at 38 points, having approximately 2,420,000 viewers. That makes this series having the highest ratings for the first episode in three years. The last series that had a high rating for the first episode was The Dance of Passion. Out of the three Burning Flame series, Burning Flame 3 has done the best in ratings for the first episode. To celebrate this, Producer Amy Wong led the actors and actresses of this series, such as Kevin Cheng, Myolie Wu, and Matthew Ko, to meet with reporters at TV City. They had beer to celebrate.
Kevin and Myolie were excited about the ratings for the first episode. They both said, “That’s awesome!” When asked if they worry about the ratings for the rest of the series not being as high, Kevin was honest and said that he feels pressured. He hopes the audience will continue to support [them and the series]. When asked if he has confidence in breaking the ratings record for Jewel in the Palace, Kevin said that it is too early to say anything yet. If he could expect what the ratings would be, then he could expect what the index would be for the stocks; then he would be very happy. If the good ratings continue, what would he do to celebrate? He smiled and said if average rating reaches 40 points, then he would wear swimwear to show everyone but he would have to ask for the others’ opinions first, because if only he wears it, then it would be weird. He revealed that they would have a promoting function at the beach later; he hopes that he would be able to give everyone a surprise then.
Myolie Gives Credits to the Actors
When Myolie was asked if she would wear a bikini to celebrate for high ratings, she laughed and said, “Everyone in Hong Kong has seen me in a bikini before, so I will be a cheerleader and wear cheerleader outfit.” Even though Myolie has not appeared in the series yet, she is very confident with having good ratings because everyone sweated a lot for this series. She also pointed out that the actors worked very hard, so the credits go to the actors. When asked if she would celebrate with Bosco Wong, she said that she doesn’t have any relationship with him in the series. Kevin helped out and said that Myolie would celebrate with himself.
